Yantai-Dalian Railway Ferry
Yantai-Dalian Ferry starts from Changlingzi Station, Dalian in the north and ends at Zhuji Station, Yantai in the south, which is the first oceanic railway corridor of over 100km, the transport distance is as long as 159.8km. It was commenced on October 27th, 2004 and open to public on November 6th, 2006.
Yangtai-Dalian Ferry is composed of railways, trestles, ports and ferryboats, and is a large-scale system engineering with multiple disciplines and industries. It was awarded with National Silver Medal in 2008, and its system integration technology and application was awarded the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2011.
