 An important breakthrough in the research and development of high-speed maglev with speed of 600km/h, CRDC undertakes a number of key research and design

A prototype of a high-speed maglev (magnetic levitation) test vehicle with a speed of 600 km/h was successfully tested at Tongji University in Shanghai on June 21,2020,  marking an important new breakthrough in China's high-speed maglev research and development.

The test line was designed by CRDC. This test run of the sample vehicle can preliminarily verify the interface relationship and coupling characteristics of various high-speed maglev systems under dynamic conditions, and obtain a large number of key data, which will provide support for the verification and optimization design of key technologies of high-speed maglev system such as track, civil engineering, traction power supply, etc.

At the same time, CRDC is conducting in-depth research and design work on the linestracks, traction power supply, operation control and communication systems related to the high-speed maglev transportation system with a speed of 600 km/h.
